Taskless

Taskless creates rules for your agent harness. Tell Taskless what you want, and Taskless enforces it on every commit…

You tell Taskless what you want (e.g. tag @taskless on a PR), and it compiles that into a deterministic check, such as a syntax-tree rule, prose check, linter rule or cross-file check, with its own pass/fail fixtures. No model runs at check time. The open-source CLI runs locally with no account, and Taskless Cloud adds provenance, governance, signed rules, runtime rules and GitHub integration. Markdown rule files like AGENTS.md, skills/ and .cursor/rules are only prompt suggestions that agents ignore, especially after model updates or in long tasks. Built for: Developers and teams using AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode and Codex. Main features: Rules compile to deterministic checks with no model in the loop; Every rule ships with pass/fail fixtures; 25+ languages plus prose, run locally; Emits rules in your existing linter's dialect; Create rules by tagging @taskless on PRs/issues, from the dashboard or via Agent Skills in the IDE; Cloud: provenance, org-wide governance, signed tamper-proof rule code.
